Welcome to Technica Pacifica
Our goal at Technica Pacifica
is to help native Japanese speakers write more effective and natural-sounding
business English. Technica Pacifica, in Moab,
Utah, administers the Japanese-English correspondence courses for DHC
Corporation in Japan. Our professional
staff grades the course lessons sent to us from our students
in Japan and several other countries. Our graders mark each student's
work with corrections and add individual comments that specificially
address matters of grammar, vocabulary, punctuation, and style.
Our students usually receive their graded work within 10 days
from the time they submit it to the DHC Tokyo office. All of our
grading services are also available via e-mail, in which case
the turn-around time is less than one week. Technica Pacifica
also helps administer DHC's popular translation
contests, which are now held twice a year. We also answer
questions from students about vocabulary,
grammar and other topics related to our courses, and are continually
